Karen Sullivan

(LNC) - We are deeply happy to announce that the central african cameraman Pacôme Pabandji who worked a year long for LNC, and now for the French News Agency AFP, has been nominated for the so prestigious Rory Peck Awards.
Pacôme still gets in touch with us, that is why we are so proud of him.

The Rory Peck Awards are the only awards dedicated to the work of freelance cameramen and camerawomen in news and current affairs - self-shooting journalists, videojournalists and filmmakers who work independently covering events and uncovering stories in many of the globe's most difficult regions.

This year's finalists come from Britain, Central African Republic, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, USA and Ukraine...

The three finalists are:
- PACÓME PABANDJI (Centrafrique) for CAR: Descent into Chaos
Shot in CAR, December 2013-May 2014. Broadcast by AFPTV

- NICHOLE SOBECKI (American) for Terror strikes Kenya: Attack at the Westgate Mall
Shot in Kenya, September 2013. Broadcast by AFPTV

- ANDRIY PERUN (Ukrainian) for Ukraine Crisis: Kiev

All our team is fingers crossed.
