Ideologies like [Islam (ISIS), Hindutva (cow vigilantes) etc] do not require organization proper
Dear Editor
Such:- (i)- Communal ideologies never die till have power (through territories) (ii)- Medieval Hindutva (cow vigilantes) ideology can be partially defeated by referendum in India on beef eating (iii)- Medieval Islamic ideology can be defeated by retrieving POK and ultimately by Realizing 'Common Wealth'.
------ Recently the Indian Parliament and media have been discussing hotly the violence inflicted on people (mainly on Muslim and Dalit community) by Hindutva forces (cow vigilante brigades) all over India (latest being in Una, Gujarat and Mandsaur, M.P.). During these debates and discussions one point has been raised repeated by the people from Hindutva forces (India level organization such as BJP, RSS, VHP, Bajrangdal etc) that these cow protection organizations are not formally part of their India level organizations hence Hindutva forces cannot be blamed for these physical violences & other crimes by cow vigilantes.
But this is an untenable and flawed argument because ideologies do not require organization proper. This is evident in case of ISIS also where Jihadis all over the world are killing innocent people without these Jihadis (inspired by medieval thinking) becoming a member of ISIS organization. Rather ISIS does not have any global organization. Similarly these cow protection organizations or even individuals are fired-up by the ideology of Hindutva without being formal member of either BJP or RSS or VHP or Bajrangdal etc.
Here one more thing is common. Whether it is medieval ideology of ISIS or of Hindutva forces they all derive strength when they acquire territory in order to become State (even loosely). ISIS is having territories in Iraq, Syria, North-Africa etc. As far Hindutva forces they have governments of BJP at center and in many States of India. Therefore unless Hindutva forces (BJP in its present form) is dislodged from power from Centre and States, these communal forces of Hindutva (including cow vigilantes) will not be eliminated.
But this is a tall order because medieval communal forces can be defeated only by modern ideology of human rights friendly democratic-secular-socialism. Whereas it is not merely BJP rather all the political parties of India have compromised in this matter as given below - though (as was natural) the main beneficiary of this compromise has been Hindutva forces [through BJP which has come in power in center and in many States due to Hindutva forces gaining center stage of Indian politics after victory of India in 1971 in Bangladesh war which infuriated West (led by USA) which allegedly (like Taliban in Afghanistan to defeat USSR) encouraged Hindutva forces starting with JP movement of seventies (in which RSS played major role in arranging crowds), Khalistan movement of early eighties (in which Police did not enter even after murder of Police officer at Golden temple) hence culminating in Operation-Blue-Star and assassination of Indira Gandhi, Ayodhya movement since late eighties launched by Hindutva forces (culminating in demolition of Babri Masjid and communal riots including massacre in 2002 at Gujarat) etc]:-.
(1)- To what extent India compromised on Secularism is evident from six writ petitions which, in order to restore secularism in India, I repeatedly ask Muslims / secularists to file in Supreme Court of India about (i)- Legally expected restoration of Status-quo-ante of Babri Masjid which was demolished in 1992 in the presence of Observer of Supreme Court (ii)- Query about retrieve of POK in the interest of removal of AFSPA etc from J&K (unlike Hindu majority Goa the POK has not been retrieved by so-called secular India and even Bangladesh was not assimilated in 1971 despite collapse of two nation theory because both are Muslim majority) moreover Indian military does not have courage to take-on the military of Pakistan for the retrieve of POK and instead showing its ‘bravery’ by training guns at the civilians / citizens of India in Kashmir (iii)- Prosecution against guilty found by Sri Krishna Commission about 1992-93 communal riots in Mumbai / Maharashtra (while rightly asking for deportation / action against Dawood Ibrahim etc, the guilty of serial blasts which were direct fallout of said riots) (iv)- Identification, tracking and deportation of illegal immigrants, mainly from Bangladesh (v)- Quashing of discriminatory (especially against Muslims) Reservation Policy (vi)- Delhi 1984 & Gujarat 2002 riots about section 130 & 131 Cr.P.C.
(2)- As far socialism which is nothing but joint-capitalism or mixed-economy where State-capital should also have sanctity and should be deployed (like private –capital) profitably especially in the interest of eliminating unemployment (especially by constructing residential and commercial building which can be given on rent to be decided by statutory ‘Rent Commission’). But in India (like in USSR which got dismantled as it too squandered State-capital) most of the Public Undertakings have been allowed to run in loss. The worst part of it is that State-capital (out of Tax) to the tune of ~ $ 15 Trillion is not being recovered by GOI. Hence two writ petitions are needed in Supreme Court about (i)- Constitutional obligation about Public debt under Article 292 & 293 and not under unconstitutional FRBM (ii)- Recovery of Rs ~ 1,000 Trillion tax out of black money (declared illegally as agricultural income to avoid tax) which, if recovered, can solve most of the problems being faced by India especially arising due to economic hardship.
(3)- As for human rights (necessity in any democracy) India is yet to give the crucial institutions of health-care and education under the control of the people. Though in first stage it can easily be done regarding health-care institutions by modifying ESI [Where representatives of the contributors (employees and employers) should be there in management in addition to representatives of the government].
(4)- This medieval mindset of all the political parties of India has already brought India at a situation where Government of India is fearing another break-up of India by Pakistan as is expressed in the article ‘A Proxy War In Kashmir’ in TOI on July, 26 by Union Minister for I&B and Urban development M Venkaiah Naidu. Islam, unlike Christianity and Hinduism, is a politics based religion hence serves the purpose of ideology. Old ideology can be replaced only by a better ideology [in terms of being more humane (necessary in any democracy) and capable of providing more economic & military power]. Hence Hindus thought that secular-socialist ideology of post partition democratic India will not only be better for India in every sense of the term but will also make India such an attraction that Pakistan and Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) will one day come back to India after renouncing two-nation-theory. But due to betrayal of secular-socialist ideology by Hindu majority India this so-far has not happened.
(5)- On the contrary Pakistan and its Jihadis have smelt blood (in unrest in Kashmir after killing of Burhan) for the purpose of snatching Muslim Kashmir if not entire J&K from India. Venkaiah does not realize that ‘two nation theory’ (the basis of India’s partition in 1947 on the basis of religion) is presently being buttressed by Caliphate factor aroused by ISIS which even triggered recent failed coup in Turkey where disgruntled elements in Turkey were against President Erdogan who is allegedly trying to bring Caliphate back in Turkey and then in all Muslim majority countries (which was dismantled after World War I and which triggered mass movement in India by Congress under the leadership of Gandhi for the restoration of Caliphate). The Caliphate is appealing to all the Sunni Muslims ( ~ 87 % of global Muslim population) because like three other major human blocks namely Christians (with NATO), Chinese and Hindus it will bring Sunni Muslims also under one military authority (which will help Sunni Muslims in finding solution to gory problems like chronic Palestine problem, chronic Kashmir problem, Syria problem etc). In this caliphate factor Pakistan is important to Sunni-Muslim-World due to its Nukes which will further give teeth to Sunni Muslim unified military power under Caliphate.
(6)- Hence India is unnecessarily fretting & fuming [at what Pak PM Nawaz is saying and doing for snatching Muslim Kashmir (if not entire J&K) from India] without understanding that if Nawaz does not do so then Jihadi-Islam of Pakistan [which, as per media, has already laid down the lives of ~ one hundred Thousand Jihadis (including from J&K, including POK) for Kashmir] will make political life of Nawaz untenable and if these Jihadis do not do so then the chances of the entry of ISIS / Caliphate will increase exponentially in AF-PAK-Kashmir region. Therefore it is dishonest on the part of India in general and Venkaiah in particular to blame Pakistan for still relying on Islam, because it is the very basis on which Pakistan came in existence in 1947.
(7)- Moreover Venkaiah is grossly underestimating the intelligence of Kashmiris when in said article is unnecessarily giving importance to what former Home Minister Chidambaram said in a TV interview about ‘honoring the grand bargain promised by India (of keeping only defense, foreign affairs, currency and communication with Union) at the time of accession of J&K to India’. The Kashmiris have refused to fall in the trap of Venkaiah and Chidambaram and no less than a person former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in a TV interview has already said that the problem is now political [because now separatists (who’s numbers are increasing rapidly due to two nation theory after killing of Burhan) are questioning the very accession of J&K to India].
(8)- For any politician elections are important. In case of all the political parties (except BJP) it is the cadre of the party which brings or motivates or cajoles people to go to polling booth for casting their votes. But in case of BJP more than its party cadre it is the member of RSS, VHP, Bajrangdal etc who do this job. Hence it is impossible for any elected member (or aspiring to be an elected member) including PM Modi of BJP to defy the dictates of Hindutva forces [RSS, VHP (including caw vigilantes) , Bajrangdal etc]. Though medieval Hindutva ideology will be defeated completely only when BJP (in its present form) is dislodged from power from center and States but partially and to a great extent it can be defeated if demand is effectively raised in media and in Parliament for carrying out referendum in India about fundamental right of Indians to eat beef too, if they so want.
(9)- As far medieval Islamic ideology, in the present circumstance it can be defeated only by retrieving POK by India militarily [without bothering about Nukes of India and Pakistan because in ultimate analysis after-all it is white-man’s burden. Especially after BREXIT where under international pressure (of West, the USA & Europe who are increasingly becoming the victim of terrorist attacks) the ‘Common Wealth’ of 53 countries (and more bordering Muslim countries by willing assimilation) will be REALIZED sooner than later, in the interest of eliminating ‘global Jihadi terrorism’].
