À la veille de l’élection présidentielle en Mauritanie, le Secrétaire général encourage le peuple mauritanien à exercer son droit de vote. Cette élection constitue une étape importante dans le processus démocratique du pays.

Le Secrétaire général appelle toutes les parties prenantes à veiller à ce que le scrutin se déroule de manière pacifique et crédible. Il les exhorte aussi à résoudre tout litige éventuel par les canaux légaux établis.
