# Déclaration attribuable au porte-parole du Secrétaire général sur le Burkina Faso

Le Secrétaire général condamne fermement l'attaque perpétrée le 24 décembre par des individus armés non identifiés à Arbinda, dans la province de Soum, dans le nord du Burkina Faso. Le Secrétaire général exprime ses profondes condoléances aux familles des défunts et souhaite un prompt rétablissement aux blessés.

Le Secrétaire général transmet la solidarité des Nations Unies au peuple burkinabé et réitère le soutien des Nations Unies au Gouvernement du Burkina Faso et aux autres pays du Sahel dans leurs efforts contre le terrorisme et l’extrémisme violent.
