Le champion national de football Élect Sport affrontera le club égyptien Zamalek SC au premier tour préliminaire de la Ligue des champions de la Confédération africaine de football (CAF).  
  
Le 17 juillet, le club n'djamenois Elect Sport a remporté la finale du championnat national de football face à AS Santé d'Abéché au stade de Diguel, décrochant sa place pour la Ligue des champions de la CAF.
