Candidat pour la présidence de l'Union Africaine de Judo, le tchadien Abakar Djermah Aumi a perdu contre le Magache Siteny Thierry Randianosoloniaiko sur un score de 9 contre 42 voix.  
  
Son adversaire remporte ainsi les élections et devient le président du judo africain.
