Le président de la Transition, chef de l’Etat, le général Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno a signé ce 6 novembre 2023, un décret portant promotion aux grades supérieurs à titre exceptionnel, des fonctionnaires du Corps de la Police nationale. Cette promotion concerne le grade de contrôleur général.
