Un accord de réconciliation a été signé ce samedi 5 juillet 2025 entre les communautés Foulbé et Ngambaye à Mandakaou et Orégomel, visant à apaiser les tensions intercommunautaires.

 Les chefs communautaires ont officialisé ce protocole en présence de plusieurs autorités, dont Abdelmanane Khatab, délégué du gouvernement pour le Mayo Kebbi Ouest, Goukouni Sidimi du Logone Occidental, et Bachar Ali Souleymane, secrétaire général de la Primature. Cet accord marque une étape importante vers la paix et la cohésion sociale dans la région.
