Un décret du lundi 21 janvier 2019 nomme Acheick Ibni Oumar au poste de conseiller technique aux Affaires étrangères à la Présidence de la République. Il remplace Hissein Brahim Taha, nommé ministre secrétaire général adjoint à la Présidence de la République.
