# Tchad : une maternité inaugurée dans un village du Ouaddaï

Le préfet du département de Ouara, Mahamat Al-hadi Abderahim, a inauguré ce samedi une maternité au sein du centre de santé de Katafa, dans la sous-préfecture de Marfa,​ une localité située à 95 Km au Nord-Est d'Abéché.  
  
L'évènement a eu lieu en présence du directeur général de l'ONG BASE, Dahab Manoufi Dahab et bien d'autres personnalités de marques.  
  
La construction de ce joyau architectural est l'œuvre de l'ONG "Bureau d'appui santé et environnement" et son partenaire "Women's Hope international".  
  
 Le coût de construction de la maternité est estimé à 18 millions de Francs CFA. La population du village Marfa a contribué à hauteur de 10% pour la construction.
