À la fin des années 1980, en pleine affaire Kopp et dans le contexte d’un probable trafic d’or entre la Turquie et la Suisse, le détective natif de Kinshasa débarqua dans la capitale du canton de Zurich. Ainsi devait-il assurer l’intérim de la direction de l’entreprise familiale AD Finanzen und Treuhänd à la suite de l’hospitalisation de son frère qui, après avoir été empoisonné, luttait entre la vie et la mort dans l’un des services du Kantonsspital à Winterthur.
Mais le ressortissant zaïrois se rendrait compte, très vite, que les montagnes suisses cachaient des bunkers bourrés d’armes de guerre. Des voyous en costard et cravate, ainsi que des hommes d’affaires en col blanc mais mafieux, agissaient en toute impunité. Les banques helvétiques n’étaient pas aussi respectueuses de la législation internationale que dans certains pays en voie d’industrialisation. Dans ce pays d’Europe centrale, le chocolat ne contiendrait pas que du lait. Quant aux lacs, ils seraient pleins de cadavres humains. Pis encore, ils serviraient de bases, d’immersion et d’émersion, pour des créatures venues d’autres univers. Vortex vers des mondes parallèles ?
La neutralité de la Confédération helvétique arrangerait-elle quelques puissances, aussi bien terrestres qu’extra­terrestres ? Mystère absolu !
