Le Conseil provincial du Ouaddaï a un nouveau président. Mahamat Ali Rahama a officiellement pris ses fonctions ce mercredi 23 septembre 2026 à Abéché, succédant à feu Youssouf Mahamat Youssouf, décédé récemment.

Cette prise de fonction marque le début d'une nouvelle étape pour l'institution provinciale.
