Par un décret signé le 23 septembre 2026 (N°2203/PR/PM/MSPI/2026), le contrôleur général de police de 1er grade, Ahmed Oumarou Yerima Djibrillah, a été nommé directeur général adjoint des Renseignements et d’Investigations (DGRI). Il succède au général de corps d’armée Ahmat Youssouf Abakar, appelé à d'autres fonctions.
