Chad: Government imposes new security measures (Alwihda Info)

The Chadian authorities take new series of measures to prevent or thwart possible terrorist attacks. It is now required for banks and hotels in the capital to be equipped with surveillance cameras. This also involves asking hotel owners to identify their potential customers to their documentation in order to make the difference between a native and a foreign beforehand, before welcoming them into their teaching.

 
The Chadian authorities prohibit the sale of SIM cards without identification and urging the various mobile operators to cut all lines of unidentified numbers within 3 days. It is also asked to implement a tracking system within two weeks for fear of being punished.
